MADISON, Wis.—Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) welcomes Abby Despins as Public Relations Manager, where she will support national public relations and social media strategies.
Despins brings nearly a decade of experience in public relations, social media and strategic marketing communications in a variety of agency, corporate and nonprofit roles, most recently serving as communications manager at Schreiber Foods. She also brings marketing expertise from her previous role at the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA).
"We're thrilled to welcome Abby to the team with her food communications experience and versatile marketing knowledge," said Heather Porter Engwall, WMMB's Director of National Product Communications. "She brings a valuable and thorough understanding of public relations and social media to the team that will be a fantastic addition to WMMB."
Despins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and lives in Madison.
