Wisconsin Dairy Farmers and Green Bay Packers Reward Wisconsin Schools for Leading the Way Towards Healthy Improvements

Madison, WI -
Six Wisconsin schools won the Brain Break Video Contest and were awarded a trip to Lambeau Field and a workout session at the Hutson Center in Green Bay. The Brain Break Video Contest encouraged schools to submit a 2-4 minute video that could be used by all students during class or a school-wide event to get students moving and active.

A group of students from these winning schools will be making a trip to Green Bay on Friday, February 19th to tour Lambeau Field, the new Packers Hall of Fame and participate in different skills and drills stations with the Green Bay Packers Staff.

Brain Break Video Contest Winning Schools include:

  • Mt Horeb Intermediate Center, Mount Horeb, WI
  • Erin School, Hartford, WI
  • Kiel Middle School, Kiel, WI
  • Black Creek Elementary School, Seymour, WI
  • Rock River Intermediate School, Waupun, WI
  • Edna Ferber Elementary School, Appleton, WI

Fifty-five Wisconsin schools entered the contest by submitting brain break videos. The purpose of these videos were to get Wisconsin schools energized and moving. Brain breaks have been proven to help students stay focused on learning and research has shown that short bouts of physical activity can help with attention, memory and cognition.
