Instructions

  1. Keep wonton wrappers covered with plastic wrap and a damp towel. With the wonton wrapper in a diamond shape, place a Luna stick horizontally in the center of wrapper. Top Luna with 1/2 teaspoon each cashews and green onions. Fold bottom point of the wrapper over filling. Fold side points toward the center over filling. Moisten remaining point with water; roll up tightly to seal. Repeat step with remaining wrappers and filling.
  2. Heat air fryer to 350°F. Spray the basket with cooking spray.
  3. Lightly spritz rolls with cooking spray just before placing into the air fryer basket. Arrange rolls in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Set timer for 6-8 minutes. Fry rolls, removing basket at 3 minutes; flip rolls. Cook for 3-5 minutes longer or until light golden brown. Repeat steps with remaining rolls.
  5. Whisk chili crisp and honey in a bowl. Add water, a 1/2 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency.
  6. Lightly drizzle sauce on rolls. Sprinkle with cashews and green onions. Serve with sauce.

Recipe Tip

For deep-frying: Prepare rolls as directed. Heat 1 cup vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat to 375°F. Fry rolls, in batches, in vegetable oil for 1-2 minutes on each side or until light golden brown. (Do not crowd the pan.) Drain on paper towels. Return the oil to 375°F before frying the next batch.

Cheesemonger Tip

Do you have questions when shopping for cheese? Ask the cheesemonger! A cheesemonger specializes in the buying and selling of high-quality cheese, usually available in the specialty section of a grocery store or cheese shop. Knowledgeable and passionate, a cheesemonger is a go-to resource for cheese varieties and pairings, proper cheese storage and handling, its cooking applications and cheese brand information.

Luna was inspired by the dream of a cheese that tasted like the moon. First-generation cheesemaker Ron Henningfeld crafted this award-winning gouda-Alpine love child using milk from his family farm. From its debut in 2020 to its third-place win at the 2022 World Championship Cheese Contest, Luna is definitely a stellar cheese.
