Keystone Farm is located in New Glarus, Wisconsin, in the heart of the cheese making capital of the U.S. – Green County, Wisconsin. Every year for 12 years, Pete and his five children traveled from the East Coast back to his wife, Lauree's home state of Wisconsin for vacation. They found themselves bringing back more and more cheese for family and friends who raved about the exceptional flavor of the fresh Wisconsin cheese. The demand kept growing among their family and friends for fresh Wisconsin cheese, so in 2004, Pete purchased a dairy farm in Green County that was originally homesteaded in 1873 by Swiss settlers. Keystone Farms Cheese was established in 2007, where Master Cheesemakers continue to make handcrafted cheeses in the Swiss-German tradition of excellence – small batches using only the finest ingredients available.
